(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /usr/html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114Since December 2022, hDAO has been on a mission to create a safe and inclusive Web3 environment with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles for all individuals. At hDAO, we’re committed to taking the principles of DEI to the next level by empowering every member of our ecosystem to contribute to the growth and success of Hacken. With the establishment of our Quality Control Committee (QCC) and the very first RFPs submission, every member of the Hacken community is evolving into a cybersecurity expert, actively contributing to Hacken’s growth. However, to achieve our ambitious goals for the future, we recognized the need for a comprehensive solution that would enable seamless governance, high security, and exceptional user experience for our community members. After an extensive search, we are pleased to disclose some details on the forthcoming partnership with a cutting-edge product, whose functionality perfectly aligns with the hDAO prospects.

There are some common critical challenges that DAOs can face, such as potential abuse of authority, false decentralization, and centralized control over decision-making.

With months of negotiations, we have been working on integrating the hDAO governance into one platform that can address common issues of decentralized governance. This partnership offers a brand-new approach, and we see its relevance for our evolving hDAO. The platform we will integrate hDAO with is in the development stage and will be announced soon.

To define the most convenient platform for hDAO, we reviewed the most regnant products in the market. We’ve been considering Karma, which offers a reputation system that grants visibility into a DAO’s contributor activity, but the product we’ve chosen provides another unique value of a non-linear, quadratic voting system and automated rewarding, ensuring no undue influence over governance operations.

We also explored Tally, where usernames (ENS) are required when contributing to DAOs which can be a removing obstacle for participation. The partner’s solution we’re integrating with ensures a simplified user experience for each Hacken member.

The partner’s solution also provides an automated rewarding system, laid down in the on-chain platform’s functionality. Thus, each reward of 1,000 HAI for full-fledged proposals will be automatically granted to a requester.
